2027 Plans
In 2027, the Interagency Wildfire Center will move forward as a collaborative planning and design initiative. With land secured and strong regional support in place, we aim to finalize conceptual designs, align partner agency needs, and explore construction options.
This phase will focus on refining the vision for a shared facility that enhances wildfire coordination, improves response times, and strengthens regional preparedness across Southwest Colorado. While specific timelines and budgets are being developed, this planning stage positions the project for swift advancement once funding is awarded.
